Thank you for your interest in presenting for StorieTree Professional Education.
We are excited partner with presenters and organizations whose missions and values align with ours.
Courses at StorieTree Professional Education are selected through a review process that centers educational quality, ethical integrity, and relevance to professional practice. Proposals are evaluated for alignment with learning objectives, ethical standards, accessibility, and interdisciplinary applicability. Programs are reviewed prior to delivery and evaluated afterward through participant feedback, which is used to inform ongoing quality improvement and program development.
Before submitting a proposal, please take some time to review our organization's mission, vision and values, program information, and the requirements for program proposal detailed below.
After submitting a proposal, it will be reviewed by our Program Director, and Program Administrator. If there are any content additions or changes needed, we will reach out to discuss these with you. Upon acceptance of a proposal, our Program Administrator will reach out to discuss scheduling your live workshop, as well as providing you with a speaker contract and arrangements for payment. (Though, in the spirit of transparency, our speaker contract template is available here).
We use an electronic proposal process. Prior to starting your proposal, we recommend you review this list to prepare your proposal and the documents that you will need to upload. (To download a copy of this list, click here)

For more information, review the CE on Best Practices in presenting Continuing Education that will be made available to you free as a StorieTree presenter.
Category of Education - you will be asked to choose which one of the following best fits your workshop/course:
D1.1: Program content focuses on application of psychological assessment and/or intervention methods that have overall consistent and credible empirical support in the contemporary peer reviewed scientific literature beyond those publications and other types of communications devoted primarily to the promotion of the approach.
D1.2: Program content focuses on ethical, legal, statutory or regulatory policies, guidelines, and standards that impact psychological practice, education, or research.
D1.3: Program content focuses on topics related to psychological practice, education, or research other than application of psychological assessment and/or intervention methods that are supported by contemporary scholarship grounded in established research procedures.
Level of Workshop/Course - you will be asked to choose which one of the following best fits your workshop/course:
Introductory: This level of workshop will include the basics of the topic as a significant proportion of the presentation. This may include new research in an area generally covered in doctoral education, topics not always covered in doctoral programs (e.g., Intro to Sports Psychology), or more in-depth exploration than is given in most doctoral programs (e.g., specialty areas in assessment). It is expected that 50-75% of the presentation will review basic knowledge of the topic area.
Intermediate: For this level of workshop, it is expected that participants will have some basic knowledge of the topic. General information may be reviewed but will not be a significant portion of the presentation. Less than 25% of the presentation will review knowledge generally provided by a graduate level program in psychology or in an introductory workshop in this topic area. The remaining time will focus on advanced topics such as new research, specialty topics not typically covered in graduate education, or specific clinical applications.
Advanced: This level of workshop will require that participants have significant knowledge of the topic area and may require introductory or intermediate workshops prior to participation. This level of workshop will move directly into advanced knowledge of the topic area. Presenters may assume that all participants share basic knowledge.
Learning Assessment - Post-Test Questions
In order to increase the accessibility of our offerings, StorieTree Professional education offers our workshops in both live (synchronous) and recorded (asynchronous) formats. To facilitate active engagement with the latter, a post-completion quiz is required by all participants. As the creator of the CE workshop, you are the best placed to create these questions.
Please provide 6-8 post-test questions per hour of CE content, which assess the learning of the participants
These must be multiple choice, each with one specific answer (not all of the above, or true/false).
Finally you will be asked to agree to our policies, including
